Dear Alumni and Friends,
I hope this Newsletter finds you all well. May 24th has passed so quickly that I hope you have all done your planting for the Spring season. As we move into the tail end of Spring, I bring you our ‘Spring’ newsletter.
It is really a lovely time of the year, watching plants peak out of the ground, growing daily. Windows open to clear the winter air out of our homes, being able to at last wear shorts again.
In isolation I have spent the time rebuilding the UCTCanada website, slimming it down quite a bit to just the essentials. I plan to increase the News
posts instead.
A few events planned have been put on hold until the new year, nevertheless UCT has been active in virtual education with students and engaging with alumni in innovative ways. Summer School 2020 has posted YouTube videos of past lectures, and their current Webinar series in in full
swing. Videos of all webinars will be hosted on the Development & Alumni YouTube site. A host of lockdown stories have been posted under #UCTLockdownletters. Have you submitted yours?
I will miss seeing you all this summer, but hopefully I will make a trip out West again in the not too distant future, and we can get a gathering together in Toronto.
If this Newsletter does not display properly on your email, view it in your brower, link at the top of this page.
Wishing you all good health and a lovely Spring and fantastic Summer season.
