Dear Alumni and Friends,
I have been diligently working away during Covid-19 updating the UCT database to include all those alumni who have moved across to Canada in the last while. Welcome. I hope you all enjoy this seasonal email with tidbits of news from UCT.
As I write, the leaves are turning, the days are shortening, and most of us are wondering if or how Halloween will happen.... And sunny pics of our fellow South Africans on the beach or at the braai doesn't ease that feeling that winter is coming.
We have a few events coming up that may be of interest - the Baxter Theatre's Unlocked virtual event on November 3rd, as well as the South African Film Festival, this year virtual, also happening early November. The Canada Africa Chamber of Business is hosting their annual Africa
Accelerating virtual conference at the end of October too. Lots of informative and exciting events to keep you occupied. More info below.
I hope you will enjoy the few articles I present here, and wish you well in the months ahead. Please feel free to contact me through the link below, if you have any queries, or just want to make contact.
Kind regards,
Di
Diane Stafford
